Description:

In this new hands-on workshop taught by instructor and artist Charis Fleshner, you will explore the history of soft sculpture in contemporary art, and create your own representational and abstract soft sculptures. Basic hand sewing techniques needed to create the sculptures will also be covered. Students will be provided with a list of required materials (approximate cost $10) upon registration.
