Description:

If you are new to playing the mandolin and need help getting started, this class is for you! Join instructor Susan Dailey in this 4-week class as you learn in a positive and comfortable group setting. We will cover: basic techniques of mandolin playing, how to make basic chords, playing simple melodies, basic theory, charting songs, and customizing practice strategies to fit your particular needs. You'll gain a foundation that you can build on after the course is over.

Students must bring their own mandolins. An electronic tuner and a pencil or pen are suggested. Students may also bring a tablet or phone if they wish to record their playing.
