Description:
|
This new 6-week class is designed for people who used to play the cello and would like to refresh their skills. After refreshing skills such as posture, holding the bow, rhythm, and good practicing habits, we'll play some intermediate ensemble pieces to get back into the swing of playing the cello. Prerequisite: a solid note-reading level and minimum 1st - 4th position shifting ability. Students who can play 3 octave scales and thumb position are welcome too, as that will increase the available repertoire for the group.
