Description:

Train to walk long distance and prepare for a pilgrimage or long hike in this new course! During our 2 class sessions, we will be learning while we are taking lengthy walks. Each session will be 2 hours in length. Topics will include: walking mindfully, how to choose training locations, best time to walk, websites and phone apps that support walking, creating a first aid kit, and goal setting. Participants should dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, bring at least 24 ounces of water and a light snack.
