The Arborist Apprenticeship is a three-year program consisting of 2,000 hours on-the-job and 145 hours in class each year. The training program is designed to be used for the Related Learning piece of an Arborist Apprenticeship. It consists of approximately 145 hours each year for three years. The training program is meant to be matched up with on-the-job training at the site of a Tree Care employer. Each Tree Care Employer will sponsor their own apprenticeship. The tuition for the first year is $3,740. There are 2 payment options for the first year tuition. Option 1: the $3,740 tuition can be paid all at once by registering for Sections 601 and 602. Option 2: The tuition can be paid in two payments of $1,870 each, by registering for Section 601 (Part 1 - $1,870) by November 1, 2020 and registering for Section 602 (Part 2 - $1,870) by March 20, 2021. Please note that students whose tuition for the 2nd half of the tuition has not been received by March 20th will not be allowed to continue in the program until the payment has been received.
Tuition for the second and third years will be $1,980 per year. Only students who have applied and have been accepted in the program can register.
