Description: The ServSafe Manager Certificate is intended for those who are considered the “Person in Charge” (PIC) of a food service operation. It is their responsibility to ensure that good food safety practices are being observed by the entire establishment. They are responsible for the food safety instruction of the other employees, as well as the proper receiving of shipments, food storage and preparation, and sanitation of equipment and facilities. The “Certified Food Manager” must make certain that these tasks are done correctly. This one-day class will prepare you to take the exam, which will be administered at the end of the class. The book and exam are included in the cost of the class.
