Description:
|
This advanced level ESL course is designed as a "bridge" to help students who have completed intermediate ESL classes continue to improve their English skills. The course will focus on grammar, syntax, and vocabulary development. We will incorporate activities to enhance reading, writing, and listening/speaking skills, with an emphasis on improving aural comprehension and critical thinking skills through the use of short videos and lectures. The course will be held completely online, utilizing Zoom for approximately half the hours, in addition to online activities from various sources, which will be independent work. Students will also be expected to turn in written assignments bi-weekly (every other week). Textbook is included in the cost of the course.
