Drawing on the natural beauty around us, this new workshop offers participants of all experience levels an opportunity to turn their observations into powerful and vivid poems. Using celebrated examples of both traditional and contemporary poetry, we’ll discuss techniques such as metaphor, imagery, sound and allusion as well as introducing basic techniques for creating musicality within a poem. No experience necessary.
