This course includes topics on accounting basics and finance in the construction business, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, budget, forecasting and tax management. Participants will learn basic cost determination, business planning, banking needs and how to build an annual business plan. The contractors of Colorado have teamed up with Front Range Community College to offer specific courses to help you develop your contracting business, and this course is the first in a series of 11 courses in which you will learn from the experts. Thanks to a generous Skill Advance Colorado Job Training Grant given to the HCC Contractor Academy and Front Range Community College, the courses are highly discounted.
