The HCC Contractor Academy provides training for owners, managers and supervisors in the construction industry. Front Range Community College has partnered with professionals throughout the construction industry to bring the latest knowledge and resources to keep your business successful and viable in today’s competitive world. The training consists of a series of 11 courses in which you will learn from experts in the areas of accounting, operations, project cost and management, contracts, human resources and business development. Each course is a stand-alone; mix and match whichever topic you need, or you can earn the overall Expert Contractor Certificate by completing all 11 courses: Company Finance & Accounting, Operations Planning, Contracts, Managing Your Team, Project Cost, Project Management, Business Development, Business Acumen, Risk Management, Technology, and Human Resource Basics & Legal Issues. The tuition for each of these courses would normally be up to $200, but the tuition (for this year only) is being paid by a Skill Advance Grant. If you register for the courses individually, you will pay $150 for each of the 8-hour courses and $100 for each of the 4-hour courses. However, if you sign up for all 11 courses at once, you will receive a 10% discount. Please note that if you sign up for this discount bundle, it is non-refundable. The first five courses will be offered in the spring semester of 2022, and the remaining six courses will be offered in the fall semester of 2022.
