This course will teach participants to understand plans and specs, how to handle contract close out, contract terms and conditions and contract review. Material will cover project data collection, cost analysis, schedule tracking, quality, and prioritization. Participants will learn safety management and quality that impacts the bottom line. Topics include planning, scheduling and effective documentation. The contractors of Colorado have teamed up with Front Range Community College to offer specific courses to help you develop your contracting business, and this course is the 6th in a series of 11 courses in which you will learn from the experts. The first five courses were offered in the spring of 2022, and the remaining six courses are being offered in the fall of 2022. Thanks to a generous Skill Advance Colorado Job Training Grant given to the HCC Contractor Academy and Front Range Community College, as well as a sponsorship from the City and County of Denver Division of Small Business Opportunity (DSBO), the courses are highly discounted.
