Description:

This course emphasizes techniques and concepts of expanded duties in dental assisting, including team management, placement and finishing of dental restorative materials, and adjunct procedures necessary to restorative dentistry. The course will consist of a combination of online Zoom sessions and in-class labs. Prerequisite: One year of chairside experience or 6 months of chairside experience and graduate of CODA accredited program. This is a hybrid class (combination of video lectures and in person labs). Students will be provided a schedule upon registration. Instructor: Dr. Greg Evans.
