This course is designed for management employees interested in learning ways to strategically manage project costs, with a focus on bonding, certifications and government contracts. This engaging and supportive learning experience is guided by the knowledge and experiences of you and your fellow participants. By the end of this 8-hour training, you will be able to:
* Explain how systems for work codes relate to winning government contracts,
* Justify why businesses should pursue commonly recognized industry certifications,
* List ways in which one can build effective networks in the construction industry,
* Examine the rationale and options for bonding,
* Synthesize how communication and documentation contribute to the success of a construction business,
* Describe how a construction business might develop its workforce, particularly with interns.
This is one of a series of courses presented through a Colorado Skill Advance Grant submitted by the NoCo Construction Partnership, City of Fort Collins and City of Loveland. All courses will be taught by an experienced instructor through Live Remote – so you can attend in the comfort of your home or office.
